A typical engagement session runs about 1 to 1.5 hours. This gives us enough time to get comfortable, explore different spots, and capture a variety of looks without feeling rushed.

Bring props if something is genuinely meaningful to your story! A favorite blanket, a custom sign with your wedding date, or even a photo of your pet can add a personal touch. Just don't feel pressured to bring props if they don't feel authentic to you.

Lighting is everything! The "golden hour"—the hour after sunrise or before sunset—offers the most magical, soft, and warm light. That's why I often recommend scheduling shoots during these times. Overcast days can also be beautiful, providing smooth, even light without harsh shadows.
